artists at the soda gallery Jorge Catoni
Saturday, May 17th brings forth our next art exhibition, "Jorge Catoni: Manipulations". Catoni’s work, combining digital and analog techniques, is reminiscent of an eerie urban landscape, full of lost souls, humorous captions, playful color halftones and old billboard advertisements. We are really excited to have Catoni, who hails from South America, as our first solo exhibition of 2008. This is definitely a show you won’t want to miss. We’ll also have tequila guru and
aficionado,
Raul Santillan, Jr., in-house offering sampling new and delicious pure agave tequilas. Both events start at 7pm and run until 11pm. (Be sure to stay tuned for our June art exhibition, "Tasty Pulp, Etc." which will coincide with a certain "Soda Slinger’s" 40th Birthday!)
