Goodbye May. See you again this time next year…

Friday, May 30th, 2008

It’s hard to believe that the month of May is near the end. It’s not that another month in the calendar year has come and gone (although it has.) What this really means is that in Texas, It’s getting dang hot outside. If you’ve ever lived in Texas for at least an whole year, you know how brutal the summer months can be. I don’t know how people managed to live without air conditioning back in the day. I suppose Texans have modern technology to thank.

Aside from the a/c we have another method of cooling down, and that is with our ‘Flavour of the Month’:

I can’t think of a better way of keeping cool than with a ‘frosty’ Frostie Root Beer or Vanilla Root Beer, especially out of a nice bucket of ice. We want to help all of our friends and customers beat the summer heat with our June Frostie Special. Purchase five bottles of either flavor and receive the sixth bottle on us free. Mix-n-match both flavors, or keep ‘em all the same. It’s entirely up to you.

This offer is good through June 30th, 2008 and available in-store or phone orders only. Not valid with any other offer. To order over the phone, please call 214.946.7632.

If Frostie Root Beer is not your flavor of choice, we do have other sodas to tempt your taste buds…Stop in a see for yourself!

International Delights @ TSG! (More New Sodas!!)

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

As if there was any surprise, lol. As you probably well know we are always on the look out for new soda offerings at The Soda Gallery, and this week we have several new sodas from Central and South America.

Goya brand sodas are really popular down here in the South, so we stocked up on Goya Ginger Beer, Pineapple, Cola Champagne, Guarana and Guava sodas. Thankfully, we were able to get in contact with a Goya representative to start ordering in bulk. They aren’t easy people to get a hold of…

Also, we now have in stock Inca Kola, ‘The Golden Kola’ from Peru, one of, if not ‘the most’ popular beverage of Peru. Other favorites now in stock are Jupina Pineapple from S. America, Ironbeer and Materva soda from Cuba, Tropical Fresa (Strawberry) from Ecuador, and the pride and joy of Brazil…Antarctica Guarana, with more natural caffeine than your typical soft drink. They are tasty!

Unfortuntely, most of these sodas from Central and South America are not readily available in glass bottles here in North America, so our best alternative is aluminum cans. However, pour any of these drinks in a nice, cold glass on a hot afternoon and you are good to go!

Stop in and try one of these new sodas, or an old favorite, like Dublin Dr Pepper, Coca-Cola w/sugar, Nesbitt’s Strawberry, Boylan Black Cherry, Frostie Blue Cream Soda or a Henry Weinhard Root Beer. Everything is good at The Soda Gallery!

You know where to find us…
